The company was founded in Sweden in 2013 by a group of investment professionals and executives with extensive experiences from a wide range of different industries. The Chief Investment Officer has twice before been awarded by Lipper (Thomson Reuters) for managing the best performing Asia Fund among all regulated Asia funds registered for marketing in any EU country.

AGCM’s investment strategy is based on the following principles:

• Active Management – Disregard from equity index benchmarks. Equity index compositions today are often poor indicators of where the future growth will occur. A concentrated portfolio of at the most 40 stocks allows for meaningful performance contribution from well researched ideas.
  
  
• Bottom up – Fundamental in depth research allows for an above average understanding. The investment team relies on a combination of proprietary research, a network of top-rated analysts in Asia as well as industry experts within the network of AGCM management and Board of Directors.
  
  
• Long term – Based on in depth research, we take long term views, re-evaluate them periodically and enhance long term returns by trading on exaggerated price fluctuations
